To enable Kerberos authentication for virtual servers

1. Open Cluster Administrator.
2. In the console tree, click the Groups folder.
3. Select the appropriate virtual server.
4. In the details pane, click the Network Name resource for that virtual server.
5. On the File menu, click Take Offline.
6. On the File menu, click Properties.
7. On the Parameters tab, select Enable Kerberos Authentication, and then click OK.
8. In the details pane, click the Network Name resource for that virtual server.
9. On the File menu, click Bring Online.

• If you enable Kerberos authentication for a virtual server's Network Name resource, make sure that the Cluster service account has appropriate rights to the computer object associated with that Network Name resource. For more information, see Related Topics.
